Primary Service Area

Our primary service area is bordered on the north by the intersection of US Hwy 27 & GA Hwy 190, on the east by the intersection of GA Hwy 116 & Palmer Pines Rd, on the west by the intersection of GA Hwy 116 & Macedonia Church Rd, and on the south by the intersection of GA Hwy 208 and Winfrey Rd.

Also located in the primary service area are three large propane gas storage facilities. One inside city limits while the other two are north of city limits.

Because Hamilton is the county seat, the Hamilton Fire Dept. has to provide fire service protection for the Courthouse, many county offices, jail, county work camp, county community center and more.

The department provides fire protection for four public schools, including Harris County High School, Harris County Carver Middle School, Park Elementary and Performance Learning Center.

Public Safety Programs & More

Hamilton Fire Department conducts fire safety education programs at Park Elementary and other places by request.
Fire Station also serves as a community center.

2006 Pierce: carries 1,000 gallons of water & pumps 1,250 gallons of water per minute

1999 E-One: carries 1,000 gallons of water & pumps 1,250 gallons of water per minute

The Hamilton Fire Department serves not only the City of Hamilton, GA but also provides fire service protection for many Harris County buildings and schools.
